The Arts Council of Uusimaa promotes professional artistic work and recreational arts activities in Uusimaa. As part of the national arts administration we distribute grants and subsidies to professional artists and communities in this region. Our cooperation partners include regional art institutions, communities, organisations, schools, municipalities, regional councils and regional authorities. Through our projects we support the position of actors in the fields of the arts and culture within Uusimaa and internationally.

We currently employ three provincial artists to produce and coordinate activities promoting comic art, multiculturalism and the cultural activities of healthcare institutions.
