Library of Cultural Politics

The library of the Arts Council of Finland specialises in cultural policy matters. Its collection consist of over 7700 titles and 150 magazines. The library is open upon agreement during office hours (Mon-Fri). The collection database can be browsed at the homepages of the ARSCA-database. 

The collection includes information about cultural policies, the position of artists, arts management and cultural economics. Other main areas of the collection are:

- the functions of Arts Councils in the world

- cultural networks

- Finnish Cultural Institutes

- legislation of culture

- Finnish public cultural organisations and institutions

- the functions of the European Union, European Council, UNESCO and the Nordic Council in the field of culture.
