The Arts Council of Satakunta promotes the arts and culture in our region.

As part of the national arts administration we distribute grants and subsidies, and we employ provincial artists to implement projects. We offer regional actors artist residences in Berlin and Genoa.

We carry out cooperation with regional actors and other arts councils.

We discuss issues related to the arts and culture with artists, and if necessary we take public positions on them. We are open to new forms of cooperation and to development ideas for the arts and culture.
