The Arts Council of North Karelia promotes the arts and culture in North Karelia. As part of the national arts administration we distribute grants and subsidies and serves as the regional expert in the arts and culture. We participate in the development of our region together with artists, cultural organisations and other regional actors.  

Our three provincial artists serve as experts in their fields, and they plan and implement various development projects.

We offer artists the opportunity to work in our two artist residences in Spain and India.
