The Arts Council of Ostrobothnia work to strengthen the position of the arts and culture in our region. We participate in the development of our region in cooperation with artists, art organisations, cultural organisations and other regional developers. We create networks and participate in the planning and implementation of joint projects.

We promote the working conditions for professional and amateur artists and communities. We distribute grants and subsidies to professional artists and art communities, as well as for the promotion of children's culture.

Our provincial artists are active in the fields of music, the visual arts, dance and international art projects. Provincial artists organise events, training and workshops in their own fields by means of cooperation projects. The Arts Council of Ostrobothnia also offers expert advisory services for matters related to the arts and culture.
