The Arts Council of Southeast Finland operates in Kymenlaakso and South Karelia and is part of the national arts administration. We promote the artistic working conditions in our region, as well as international activities.

We distribute grants and subsidies to artists, art organisations and event organisers in our region. Artists also have the opportunity to apply for visits to our residence in Berlin.

We employ 2 or 3 provincial artists at a time who are active in supporting and implementing artistic activities in Southeast Finland.
